What is Asthma?

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that decreases the flow of air into and out of the lungs.

With asthma, the airways of the lung become inflamed, the muscles around the airways tighten, and the lungs produce more mucus.
Asthma can be controlled through education, asthma management skills, and appropriate medications.

What are some of the symptoms of Asthma?
